Poor Jack gets his 4 month shots tomorrow. If they're anything like the 2 month shots, he won't be laughing much tomorrow. So, here's something to get us through...

Jack and his 1/3rd present
Here's Jack enjoying his new exersaucer. He's really working on reaching out to grab things.
Getting reading for the big 1-3 (1/3, that is)...
Last night, Jack got extra soapy (and clean) for his big 4 month birthday!
I can't believe I'm turning 4 months old tomorrow. I remember two weeks as if it were yesterday...
Does this shot make my tummy look big? I'm trying to suck in, but this light doesn't flatter me.
Daddy still jumps when I pee in the tub! I just do it to get a laugh out of Mommy.
All clean and ready for my big day!

Jack visits the south (finally)!!!
This past week, Jack finally got to meet his "southern side." We started out for a weekend in Chapel Hill, where Jack learned the finer points of winning poker. Then, we heading out to South Carolina for the week. Here are some highlights:
Nana and Jack were SO excited to get to Columbia.
Four generations of Barths.
Jack and his great-grandfather.
We then headed off to Greenville:
We were able to get this shot with just one try!!! (Yeah, right)
Papa and Jack (NOW who has more hair??)
So long and thanks for the great visit!

Good times with Papa
Tommy came down to spend the week with us, which let Jon and I get some serious work done around the house. Jack loved it because even getting changed was fun with his Papa.

Happy Birthday, Jon!!!
Jon's 32nd birthday was on the 16th and we went bike shopping. Every boy needs a "big boy bike" for their birthday (how was that for illiteration??). Jon went out Sunday morning for a ride and came back all muddy...with a huge smile on his face. Happy Birthday, Sweets.
